Rejoice My Precious Daughter

By I.M. Ulysses

Rejoice my precious daughter
The test you have just passed
Put down all of your troubles
To Me let them be cast

Rest in My Holy presence
Let peace alight thy face
Your work on Earth is over
You have finished the race

My Glory you may enter
And see me as I Am
Your Holy Lord and Saviour
Son of God and Son of Man

Tomorrow has now ended
Welcome to this your rest
You’ve been a faithful servant
And now you shall be blessed

Since the day that I first called you
You’ve followed and obeyed
Just like the old Apostles
From My road didn’t stray

Put on this Crown of Glory
Let it adorn your head
For you are my own daughter
And to my Son you’re wed

Some day you will be going
To dwell on Earth anew
When Christ is shown triumphant
And the world has been renewed

No more will you be subject
To pain and suffering
These things will be a memory
In the Kingdom Christ shall bring

The graves will all be opened
And Death will be no more
For those redeemed by Jesus
Like lions they will roar

Oh Death where is your victory?
Oh Sin where be your sting?
Your day is gone forever
Let those alive now sing

For now my precious daughter
Your work on Earth is done
Come forth into the Kingdom
In Glory with my Son.

For Grace Allison, "an indefatigable servant of the Lord" according to the Director of Africa Inland Mission, who served for 35 Years in one location in Tanzania, teaching nursing at Kola Ndoto Hospital, passed away on Sunday, March 22 2015.
Rest in peace, sweet lady. Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of her life. We are all richer because of her life, and poorer, now, at her parting.
