It's Hard To Be Gentile

I get confused with being Jewish all the time in Toronto. Now, while I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by it, since I am very pro Israel and have Jewish friends, it did give me pause for thought.
So, for those who have a sense of humour, please enjoy the song that I wrote below. It's a take on the song "It's Hard to be Humble" by Mac Davis.

•   A Hebrew without Bar Mitzvah
•   But I can’t say that I really missed it
•   Since I didn’t know what it was

•   Maybe it’s the Shiksa I married last week
•   In the synagogue that I went to

Sit Down, Sit Down For Jesus.

Sit down, sit down for Jesus,  The Lord will not be mocked
Bow all your heads in shame, Ye false Christians are lost
Stop with your great pretensions, His Words you have betrayed
And if you will not repent,  His wrath will not be stayed

Sit down, sit down for Jesus,  Defeat is in your grasp
You've compromised sound doctrine, The die has now been cast
For over two millennia, The Bible was revered
But now it has been trampled, It's message has been smeared

Sit down, sit down for Jesus,  A coward's fate awaits
For all who have denied Him, There'll be no Pearly Gates
False teachers and bad preaching, And all who they deceive
Politically correct tools, These men He won't receive

Stand up, Stand up for Jesus, Quit bowing to the world
Return unto the Saviour,  His banner  to unfurl
For all who seek his mercy, Salvation can be found
But all the craven cowards,  To hell they will be bound  

Dedicated to those who compromised, modified, or exchanged sound doctrine for a lie. Many were one-time sound Christians, who bowed to the world and to political correctness, because they were too cowardly to stand up for Jesus and the Word of God. May they acknowledge their sin, repent, and be saved, before it's  too late.
